Terms of Service
These Terms take effect on October 1, 2026.
1. Purpose
- These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of Localsite127 (로컬사이트127, the "Company") and users in connection with K Beauty Trip (kbeautytrip.app, "KBT" or the "Service"), which the Company operates.
2. Definitions
- "Service" means everything the Company provides through its website and app: information about Korean beauty services, booking requests, booking on your behalf, payment and customer support.
- "Beauty Service" means treatments and classes provided at partner shops — such as hair, makeup, nails, lash extensions, head spa and personal color analysis — and any services included with them.
- "Partner Shop" means a salon, studio or similar business under contract with the Company to provide Beauty Services. "Designer" means the person who performs a Beauty Service at a Partner Shop.
- "User" means anyone who uses the Service under these Terms, whether a member or not. "Member" means a User who has signed in with a social account and registered.
3. Posting and Changes to These Terms
- The Company displays these Terms and its business details — company name, representative, address, contact details, business registration number and mail-order business report number — on the Service.
- The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Amendments will be announced on the Service or by email at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days before if they are unfavorable to Users.
- If you keep using the Service after the effective date without objecting, you will be deemed to have accepted the amended Terms. If you do not agree, you may close your account.
4. What the Service Includes
- Information and curated content about Partner Shops, Designers and Beauty Services
- Receiving booking requests and arranging schedules with Partner Shops on your behalf
- Payment for Beauty Services, and cancellations and refunds
- Customer support in English and other languages before and after your booking
- Other services the Company may offer
5. The Company's Role
- The Company purchases Beauty Services from Partner Shops and sells them to you. The Company is the seller and the party to your booking contract.
- Beauty Services are performed by Designers at Partner Shops. The Company is responsible for booking confirmation, payment, cancellations and refunds, and customer support.
6. Creating an Account
- You become a Member by signing in with a Google or Apple account and agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
- You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
- If you use someone else's account or provide false information, the Company may restrict or terminate your membership.
7. Closing an Account and Loss of Membership
- You may ask to close your account at any time by email (help@kbeautytrip.app) or through a channel designated by the Company. The Company will process your request without delay.
- If you have a booking in progress, your account may be closed after that booking has been used or cancelled.
- The Company may restrict or terminate your membership if you breach these Terms or applicable law, or deliberately interfere with the Service.
8. Notices
- The Company sends notices about your transactions — such as booking confirmations, schedule changes, cancellations and refunds — to the email address you provided.
- Notices to all Users may be given by posting them on the Service for at least 7 days.
9. Booking Requests and Formation of Contract
- To request a booking, choose a Beauty Service, enter your preferred dates and times, number of guests, name, email and phone number, and complete payment.
- Before you pay, the Company shows you the service name, Designer, price, total amount and the cancellation policy.
- Once you complete payment, the Company checks availability with the Partner Shop and confirms your booking, and you will receive a confirmation by email. Your booking contract is formed when your booking is confirmed. If your booking is cancelled before it is confirmed, including because the Partner Shop is not available at the time you selected, the Company will refund the full amount paid.
- The Company may decline or cancel a booking if the request contains false or missing information, or if a minor applies without the consent of a legal guardian.
10. Payment
- Prices on the Service are shown in US dollars (USD), and you are charged in US dollars (USD).
- You can pay through PayPal, with a PayPal account or a credit or debit card (including cards issued outside Korea). Payments are processed by PayPal Pte. Ltd.
- Foreign transaction or currency conversion fees charged by your card issuer or PayPal, and differences caused by exchange rate fluctuations, are your responsibility.
11. Cancellations, Refunds and Rescheduling
- Cancellations, refunds, rescheduling and no-shows are handled under the Company's No-show, Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
- If a Beauty Service cannot be provided due to circumstances on the part of the Company or a Partner Shop, the Company will issue a full refund or take other steps set out in that policy.
- Because a Beauty Service is provided at a specific date and time, your right to withdraw an order under the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce may be limited according to the criteria and periods set out in that policy.
12. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when booking, and tell us in advance about anything that may affect your service, such as skin conditions or allergies.
- Arrive on time and follow the Partner Shop's safety and hygiene rules and the Designer's instructions.
- Do not use another person's information, use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes without the Company's consent, or interfere with the operations of the Company or Partner Shops.
13. The Company's Responsibilities
- The Company does not engage in any conduct prohibited by applicable law or these Terms, and makes every effort to provide the Service reliably.
- The Company protects your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
- The Company handles complaints and requests for remedies in good faith. If a matter takes time to resolve, the Company will tell you why and when to expect a response.
14. Reviews and Posts
- Only Users who have actually used a Beauty Service may write a review. The Company clearly distinguishes posts written by its team from customer reviews.
- You keep the copyright in your reviews, and you allow the Company to display and use them for promotion on the Service and the Company's official channels. Photos in which your face can be identified are used only with your separate consent.
- Posts that infringe the rights of others, or that are false, obscene or unlawful, may be hidden or removed without prior notice.
15. Intellectual Property
- Copyright and other intellectual property rights in photos, videos, text, designs and other content created by the Company belong to the Company or the rightful owner.
- You may not copy, distribute, adapt or use that content for commercial purposes without the Company's prior consent.
16. Limitation of Liability
- The Company is not liable when it cannot provide the Service due to force majeure, such as natural disasters, war or power outages. In such cases, the No-show, Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy applies.
- The Company is not liable for damage caused by reasons attributable to you.
- If physical harm results from a Beauty Service, the Company is responsible in accordance with the No-show, Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
- Nothing in this section limits the Company's liability for damage caused by its intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
17. Dispute Resolution
- If you have a complaint or dispute about the Service, contact us by email (help@kbeautytrip.app) or through a channel designated by the Company.
- If a dispute cannot be resolved between you and the Company, you may apply for relief or mediation to bodies such as the Korea Consumer Agency or the E-Commerce Mediation Committee.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms and any dispute about the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Any lawsuit between you and the Company shall be brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
- These Terms are provided in Korean and English. If there is any difference in interpretation between the two, the Korean version prevails.
